In 2025, during the height of DOGE and uncertainties regarding its impact on the US Department of Labor, the AZAGC Employment & Labor Affairs and Workforce Development Committees requested a presentation from the Arizona Department of Economic Security-Apprenticeship Office to determine if there will be any changes to the Prevailing Wage and Davis-Bacon Acts.

In response to our request, the US Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division and Arizona Department of Economic Security-Apprenticeship Office is hosting a virtual session for Arizona on ‘Prevailing Wage, Davis-Bacon, and Related Acts’ on February 18, 2026 at 2:00 PM, MST.
