The AZAGC Safety Awards program recognizes member companies for exceptional safety performance. Awards are based on incident rate data (TRIR and DART rates), safety program documentation, and hours worked without recordable incidents. AZAGC compiles anonymized incident rate data from member companies and produces industry benchmarks for Arizona construction. This allows members to compare their TRIR (Total Recordable Incident Rate) against peers in the same trade and size category — a valuable tool for internal safety improvement and prequalification submissions.
